- Gran artículo, pero ¿por qué ahora? If they think there’s a product that clears by morning, wouldn’t teams just shift timing again? Sounds like a cat-and-mouse juego forever.

- Fair play to Dumoulin for balancing the nuance: suspicious timing, but potentially great for trust if Pogi and Vinge come up spotless across the Tour. The GH comment from Naesen tracks with detection windows—short half-lives, so you chase the troughs.

- I’m all for clean sport, but dragging riders out of bed at 3 a.m. feels performative. If you need a judge to sign off, doesn’t that already imply you think there’s fire, not just smoke?

- So wait, are tests between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. actually legal everywhere, or just in France when courts step in? How often has WADA/ITA done this before?

- Fascinating take from Dumoulin. If the parquet was involved via L’Équipe’s report, that suggests there was a formal judicial request, not just ITA fishing. If they were targeting GH/IGF-1 windows, late-night knocks make sense. If nothing shows up, huge boost for the peloton’s credibility.

- Not sure I buy the “just part of it” line from Denk. Testing yes, but 2–5 a.m. before a huge mountain day feels like gamesmanship by the system. Mildly irresponsible.

- Good reporting on Naesen’s GH detail. More of that, less of the rumor mill. Keep it clean and transparent.

- I get Vaughters’ point about credibility, but fans also want fair competition conditions. Five hours of sleep vs. rivals who maybe weren’t disturbed? That’s a sporting disadvantage, même si le contrôle est nécessaire. Balance, por favor.

- Quick one: why is the French court involved here—does that mean teams can’t refuse even if it’s the middle of the night?

- Feel bad for Jonas. Broken collarbone after a 2 a.m. wake-up just feels… wrong. You can’t prove causation, but micro-sleep and poorer reaction time on descents are real risks. There has to be a better cutoff time.
