Pogačar won his first Milano-San Remo in 2026, completing a historic spring in which he won Strade Bianche, Milano-San Remo, the Tour of Flanders and Liège-Bastogne-Liège.

Pogačar's 2026 season review
Pogačar began 2026 by winning Strade Bianche for the fourth time, then claimed his first Milano-San Remo title. He followed that with victories at the Tour of Flanders and Liège-Bastogne-Liège, giving him three Monument wins in one spring campaign.
At the Tour de France, Pogačar won five stages and secured his fifth overall title by 6 minutes 26 seconds ahead of Remco Evenepoel. He also set a new record time on Alpe d’Huez, completing the climb in 35:27.
At the Vuelta a España, Pogačar won three of the first six stages and held the red jersey before crashing on Stage 8. He abandoned the race with a concussion, a fractured collarbone and a stable C7 cervical fracture, ending his season early.

Tadej Pogačar's 2027 outlook
Pogačar has confirmed three major objectives for 2027:
- Tour de France.
- UCI Road World Championships.
- Vuelta a España.
He will target a record sixth Tour de France title in July 2027, followed by the Vuelta a España in September. His contract with UAE Team Emirates-XRG runs through the end of 2032.
