After ten months of racing on the road, we will be diving back into the field for five months. We will be swapping the sun, mountains and GC rankings for rain, mud and World Cup races. How many races will Mathieu van der Poel, Wout van Aert and Tom Pidcock participate in? And how will Fem van Empel, Puck Pietersen and Shirin van Anrooij perform among the women? In the calendar below you will find all the races, from untitled Exact Crosses to the foreign pearls in the World Cup.
The individual races without overarching sponsors or rankings are not included in the calendar. For example, three individual races will be held in the Netherlands alone, on 22 October in Woerden and on 9 and 10 November in Rucphen and Huijbergen. The Kermiscross Ardooie, cyclocross in Gullegem and the cross in Otegem usually attract quite a few nice names. The European Championships will be held in Pontevedra, Spain this winter, the World Championships will be organised in Liévin, France.
