A nice, relaxed ride for the former world champion, of course, but is there an extra reason behind it? The 2028 Olympic Games will take place in the American city...

The adventure on the west coast of the US wasn't over yet. Many people are aware that van der Poel is not only a top cyclist but also a dedicated runner. He may not be Tom Dumoulin, who is preparing for the Amsterdam Marathon, but on the evening of October 1-2, he joined the Venice Run Club for a beautiful run along the coast. Just under 7 kilometers in just over half an hour: it must have been an easy run for him.

While Van der Poel is providing spectacular images in the United States, Pogacar is playing tricks in his own country. Together with his girlfriend, Urska Zigart, he promoted the Pogi Challenge. This competition will take place on October 12 on the slopes of Krvavec. There, fans will compete against the world champion himself in a fantastic challenge.

Participants will have to cover 23 kilometers and climb almost 1,200 meters, but they will do so with Pogacar chasing them. He will start later: whoever reaches the top before him will be declared the winner. How do you promote that? That's right, with a unicycle.
