Movistar have shared Marlen Reusser’s 2026 schedule on social media. The Swiss rider — runner-up last season in both the Giro Donne and La Vuelta Femenina — is clearly shaping her year around the Tour de France Femmes, which will start in Switzerland.

Reusser already kicked off her season on 24 January in Mallorca, where she was beaten by Maeva Squiban. Her next race will be the UAE Tour, before she turns her attention to a hefty block of one-day Classics: Strade Bianche, Dwars door Vlaanderen, the Tour of Flanders, Flèche Wallonne and Liège–Bastogne–Liège.
After Liège, the Swiss time trial world champion continues with stage racing, lining up for La Vuelta Femenina, Itzulia Women (Tour of the Basque Country) and the Tour de Suisse Women. From there, the focus shifts fully to the Tour de France Femmes, which begins on 1 August in Lausanne — in Reusser’s home country of Switzerland.

What are Ferrand-Prévot and Vollering doing?

Tour de France Femmes title holder Pauline Ferrand-Prévot will face more top-level competition for 2026, with Reusser now also locking in her calendar. The Visma | Lease a Bike leader announced her programme in January, with key goals including Strade Bianche, the Tour of Flanders, Flèche Wallonne and Liège–Bastogne–Liège, plus stage wins in the Vuelta and the yellow jersey at the Tour.
Demi Vollering is expected to race fewer days in 2026 than last season, but will also return to the Tour aiming to make it count. Her full programme has not yet been confirmed.
