For Tadej Pogacar, preparations for the new season can now truly begin. The Slovenian superstar enjoyed a short break before logging some early kilometres here and there. But this weekend he returns to UAE Team Emirates – XRG’s training camp with a brand-new haircut. So… what do we think?

Pogacar, always generous: "He even gave me more than necessary"

A surprising visit, of course. “Naturally I said yes. In the end they came with three people and I cut all of their hair. Pogacar showed me on his phone the hairstyle he wanted, and I gave it to him, just like with any other customer. He was incredibly friendly, a wonderful person.”
A star of his caliber rarely walks into the shop - let alone a Slovenian in a Belgian barbershop. “I told him he didn’t need to pay, but he insisted. And he even gave me more than necessary. Normally I charge between 20 and 30 euros, but he paid 45.” Tadej Pogacar - always modest, always kind. A true role model.
