The Tour de France is traditionally the moment for cycling teams and their sponsors to showcase their new kits. The biggest cycling race of the year generates the most buzz, so a fresh coat of paint or an extra sponsor on the jersey can make a world of difference. And, of course, several national champions will also be showcasing their new look in Lille on July 5. IDLProCycling.com keeps track of any new kits you should look out for in July.

Pogacar in the rainbow jersey, his teammates in their new kit

UAE Team Emirates-XRG hasn't made many changes to the kit in recent years, although last winter, a black sleeve was added due to the arrival of an additional sponsor, XRG. For the Tour de France, a slight variation has been devised on the now-familiar white jersey, incorporating some black tones. Tadej Pogacar does not have to wear that kit, of course, as he wears the rainbow jersey of the world champion and will also be chasing the yellow jersey.
After winning numerous national titles, a much more important question arose: what would UAE Team Emirates-XRG do with the national champions? Usually, they just stick a flag on the back and front, making them barely recognizable as champions in the peloton. That's different in the Tour, because the Belgian cycling federation demands a clear tricolor in the peloton, so Tim Wellens will be wearing the Belgian colors in July. Reason enough to do the same for the rest, UAE?

Rabobank makes official return to cycling kit with Visma | Lease a Bike

At Visma | Lease a Bike, designing a new kit each year has become a necessity rather than a choice — especially given how closely their iconic yellow jersey resembles the maillot jaune. This was clearly noticeable during the Critérium du Dauphiné, and, understandably, race organizers would want to avoid confusion. The team's solution? "The Swarm": a striking black-and-yellow design, paired with black shorts. As for Jonas Vingegaard, he’ll no doubt be hoping to return to wearing yellow as soon as possible — the real yellow.
Just days before the start of the Tour de France, the Dutch squad unveiled more details of their updated kit. One element in particular stood out: the return of Rabobank to a professional cycling jersey. The Dutch bank pulled out of the sport back in 2012, but during the 2025 Tour, their name will once again be visible in the peloton. The Rabobank logo won’t appear on the front of the kit, but rather on the sides — a subtle yet symbolic comeback to the sport it once played a major role in.

Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe unveils white Tour de France kit

Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe will be sporting a different look during the Tour de France. The team's familiar jersey — featuring a blue midsection and white shoulders — has been given a major makeover. For the Tour, the riders will wear a predominantly white jersey with red and green-blue accents. The bib shorts also appear to be a lighter shade than the usual black, while the outfit is completed with bright white socks. As expected, the team will continue using the iconic Red Bull helmets — also seen on the heads of riders like Wout van Aert and Tom Pidcock.
In a press release, Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe described the updated kit as “a visual tribute to the soul of the Tour de France.”
“The blue, white, and red stripes reflect the French flag and embody the speed and passion of the race, while the gradient design is inspired by the varied landscapes of France — from the cobbled roads in the north, to the Alps, and the vibrant finish in Paris,” the team explained.

TotalEnergies pays tribute, but is also on INEOS kit

For the French riders of TotalEnergies, the Tour de France is always something special. This year, the team is using the race to pay tribute to team manager and French cycling icon Jean-René Bernaudeau. “As a key figure in the Tour and a symbol of our Vendée-based structure, we are honouring Jean-René Bernaudeau and the values he has upheld season after season,” the team shared on social media. The team’s new Tour de France kit features several subtle references to Bernaudeau, most notably in the checkered design details.
TotalEnergies is not only returning to the kit of the pro-continental French team, but also to INEOS Grenadiers after a substantial sponsorship deal. We will readily admit that the traditional INEOS shirt looked a lot sleeker, but whoever pays the piper gets to call the shots. TotalEnergies will be highlighted on the front and back of the riders' jerseys in the Tour de France, with the striking orange, blue, yellow, and green logo of the French energy and petroleum company.

Israel-Premier Tech and Groupama-FDJ also unveil new Tour kit

Amidst the hype surrounding the Tour, Israel-Premier Tech has also unveiled a new jersey. According to the team, it celebrates the extension of its sponsorship deal with Factor, with the team riding on the Factor OSTRO VAM Waterkleur. A touch of purple has been added to the dark blue of the jersey.
Groupama-FDJ has also opted for a new color, with the French team adding some red to its Tour outfit. “Ready to shine in July with an elegant and bold design, a nod to the regions the Tour passes through,” said the team.

Zimmermann receives championship jersey from his team

A special jersey awaited Georg Zimmermann. The 27-year-old rider from Augsburg became German road champion and will therefore be able to wear the national championship jersey. His team, Intermarché-Wanty, presented the jersey, which resembles a UAE championship jersey.
