- Not sure the piece gives enough credit to van Aert’s move inside 2k. That attack forced UAE to burn matches and set Brennan up, but it reads like an afterthought. Bit harsh on Wout, innit?

- Brennan over Pedersen and Pogi uphill? That kick was savage. Visma’s lead-out timing was spot on after WvA’s softener. Reminds me a bit of early Bennett at Bora with that late surge.

- Can someone explain how the “virtual GC” works? The article says Onley is in virtual second on stage 4—does that mean based on time gaps in the break before they finish, or live timing compared to the jersey group?

- Hayter missing red by09s is brutal. That Monaco recon Pogi gets every day clearly mattered on those technical corners. Still, Ethan’s pacing was miles better than we’ve seen all season.

- Goosebumps reading about Tarling. To ride like that a week after losing his brother… unimaginable resilience. Chapeau, lad.

The specificity in terrain and slope that Vingo requires to beat Pogi just amplifies the fact that he is inferior. We all know this now.Lets all stop pretending he is as good or better than the GOAT.

- “He saved 20 watts on my wheel” says it all. On punchy terrain with draft benefit, Pogi’s surge–recover–surge is lethal. On a steady ramp, Jonas’ threshold engine bites back. Such a pity about the collarbone. Vamos por la próxima, Visma!

- Great read. Reef calling Solaison and Alpe d’Huez as the key days makes total sense tactically. Shame we never got to see the full watts vs explosivity duel on a pure summit finish.

- Sorry if dumb question, but why do “descents in the climbs” matter so much? Doesn’t that help everyone recover? How does it specifically favour Pogi?

- Pogacar was always going to punish those valley/flat transitions. Jonas needs the steady 30–40 min grind at 6–7% without descents spliced in. The doc really underlines that mismatch.
