Giulio Ciccone

Giulio Ciccone, an Italian cyclist born on December 20, 1994, competes for UCI WorldTeam Lidl–Trek and has established himself as a formidable climber with notable achievements including stage wins at the Giro d'Italia and winning the mountains classification at the 2023 Tour de France.

His professional journey started with Bardiani–CSF (2016-2018), where he first gained attention by winning a stage in the 2016 Giro d'Italia and showing strong performances in other races such as the Giro dell'Appennino and the Adriatica Ionica Race.

Ciccone's move to Trek–Segafredo in 2019 marked a significant step in his career, highlighted by winning the mountains classification and a stage 16 at the Giro d'Italia and briefly wearing the yellow jersey at the Tour de France in 2019.
