Also, curious if Campenaerts’ engine plus Affini’s can offset some of the WvA loss on flat control. If they want the safest, plug-and-play option, Kelderman feels like the logical pick: solid in the TTT, dependable on flats and climbs, and he’s shown he’s back after the Giro crash. Tulett would strengthen the mountains, but it probably compromises his Vuelta plan. Zingle is the closest profile to WvA for punchy finales, but his TT and pure domestique chops aren’t quite there.
