- Madre mía, qué desastre en la salida. Dix secondes gratis, c’est énorme. Poor lad.

- Tarling’s progression is insane for his age, even on a climby TT. But today was set up for a Evenepoel/Pogačar-type effort. INEOS had the watts, not the course.

- Quick question: why do teams cut it so close getting to the ramp? Isn’t there like a call-up area and a queue? Seems mad to risk it.

- Cracking write-up. You can tell Arensman’s form is there, the body language after the false roll said it all. That little rage flick and then settled—still rode solid given the mess.

- “They weren’t paying attention” sounds a bit convenient. Any confirmation beyond NOS? Team usually has a dedicated handler + countdown in the ear. Feels like a process failure, not just bad luck.

- Ganna and Tarling looking quick but still beaten by the punchier guys on this course makes sense. More rolling and uphill drags near Évian really dull the big gear monsters. Shame for Arensman—he’s exactly the kind who could have surfed that profile.

- So if he crossed the start beam late, does his official time still begin at the original start slot, or when he actually rolled? I don’t quite get how the timing works in TTs.

- Wild scene at the ramp. Losing 10 seconds at the start in a TT is basically a death sentence for a podium on the day. Brutal for Arensman after that Giro TT second place. INEOS can’t be making schoolboy errors like this.

- Gran artículo, pero ¿por qué ahora? If they think there’s a product that clears by morning, wouldn’t teams just shift timing again? Sounds like a cat-and-mouse juego forever.

- Fair play to Dumoulin for balancing the nuance: suspicious timing, but potentially great for trust if Pogi and Vinge come up spotless across the Tour. The GH comment from Naesen tracks with detection windows—short half-lives, so you chase the troughs.
