People keep saying he “hasn’t won a Monument yet.” How close has he actually come? I remember podiums and near-misses, but can someone list his best Monument results?

Does “green jersey” mean the points classification at the Tour? And how is it different from winning stages—like, can you win green without winning a lot of stages?

Love the honesty about family and the grind. Cycling eats you alive afterIf he peaks through 2029 and bows out in Denmark, that’s a storybook ending. Tak, Mads!

Quick question: which Monument suits him best right now—Roubaix or Flanders? He’s got the engine, but his Roubaix luck has been mixed and Flanders positioning has bitten him a few times.

Not sure I buy the “lifetime contract” bit meaning no team changes ever. Those deals usually have exit clauses. Still, he and Lidl-Trek are a perfect fit, so maybe it’s moot.

Massive respect for Mads laying it out so clearly. Targeting Worlds in Copenhagen as the swansong is goosebump stuff. If he bags a Monument before then plus this year’s green, that’s an all‑timer of a palmarès.

- Congrats to Søren — gutsy move. But Alpecin looked a bit out of sync without the usual clean drop from 500 toTiny gaps, too much surfing. Next flat stage, they’ll reset. Vamos, Jasper, les jambes reviennent!

- Sorry, can someone explain why the peloton basically stopped with 400m to go? Is that normal in sprints or did someone mis-time the leadout? Also who is supposed to control pace at that point, the sprinter or the last leadout guy?

- Loved the honesty from Philipsen about the first 10 days being a grind. When the speed dies like that late, wheels overlap and elbows touch — that’s sprinting. No malicious move, just physics and panic.
