Wout van Aert won't be competing in this Sunday's Tour of Flanders, following a heavy fall in Dwars door Vlaanderen last Wednesday. The diagnosis was harsh: a broken sternum and collarbone, along with several fractured ribs, marking the end of the spring season for the Visma | Lease a Bike team member.
To show their encouragement, numerous fans brought banners to the race, offering a heartfelt tribute to Van Aert.
