This is about young Adam, whose video went viral online during the Tour de France. He was incredibly disappointed that his favourite rider, Vingegaard, had to drop out of the Tour de France and said he was afraid that the general classification riderâs career might be coming to an end.

The footage also reached Vingegaard, who reassured Adam
in a video posted by France TĂ©lĂ©vision. âHi Adam. I saw you on TV, and Iâm really happy to have your full support. It means a lot to me, and you donât need to worry. Iâm not going to stop cycling,â Vingegaard said clearly.
In fact, Vingegaard invited Adam to come to the Tour de France next year and also gave him a signed jersey, as you can see in the video below.

Vingegaard won't race the World Championships in Canada
Visma Lease a Bike confirmed in August that Jonas Vingegaard would not race again in 2026 after his Tour de France ending crash. His team, Visma | Lease a Bike, confirmed he is still experiencing aftereffects and will not be fit to race this season, including a potential World Championships appearance.
Vingegaard, who won the Giro dâItalia earlier in the year and aimed for a third Tour de France title before withdrawing in stage 15, will focus on recovery and training. He and the team are now targeting goals for 2027.
