2026 Tour de France Jury Report: Who received fines and time penalties?

Stage 4 Tour de France: Carcassonne Foix (181.9 km)
'Only' one penalty was handed out on stage 4. That was for Vlad Van Mechelen. The Belgian from Bahrain Victorious received a fine of 500 Swiss francs for disposing of waste outside the designated zones. Also mentioned in the jury report: Kelland O'Brien (Jayco AlUla) finished outside the time limit and was consequently withdrawn from the race.
Stage 3 of the Tour de France: Granolles - Les Angers (195.5 km)

The UCI’s fine fund was well-stocked on day three. Daan Hoole (Decathlon CMA CGM) and Clement Braz Afono (Groupama-FDJ), along with their team directors Luke Rowe and Yvon Caer, were each fined 700 Swiss francs for a sticky water bottle. In addition, Cofidis, Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe, and Tudor were penalized for failing to follow the rules during the feed zone.
Andrej Hauptman, Tadej Pogacar’s regular team director at UAE Emirates-XRG, was fined 500 Swiss francs and given a yellow card for failing to follow the rules while driving. The same applies to two motorcycle riders in the race convoy.
Stage 2 of the Tour de France: Tarragona - Barcelona (168.5 km)
After a quiet first day, the jury did intervene after stage 2 of the Tour de France. Pablo Castrillo of Movistar was picked up for a sticky water bottle. The Spaniard received a 200 Swiss franc fine, while his team manager Jose Joaquin Rojas had to pay 500 francs.

UAE Emirates-XRG won the stage with Isaac del Toro, but also had to pay up. Mechanic Bostian Kavcnik assisted a rider in a way that was not permitted. He received a 500 franc fine and a yellow card.

The jury had nothing to say.
