Arnaud De Lie scores yet another (sprint) victory: "I'm completely back in shape"

Arnaud De Lie has won the 2024 Circuit de Wallonie near Charleroi. The Lotto-Dstny rider emerged victorious after a fierce uphill sprint, succeeding Jordi Meeus (BORA-hansgrohe) as the winner. And naturally, the 'Bull of Lescheret' was thrilled about that!

"My form is steadily improving," the cheerful winner shared in a message on his team's website. "I don’t know how many kilometers Victor Campenaerts led at the front, but it was certainly impressive," he praised Vocsnor.

De Lie is back in shape and looking forward to future goals

"The guys did a fantastic job again today. It means a lot to me that I could actually make my move," he continued in equally praising terms. "Everything went really well in the sprint here."

According to the Walloon, he was perfectly launched by Lionel Taminiaux. "And with Milan Menten, we had a backup. That's obviously a luxury situation. I feel like I'm completely back in shape. I owe that to the break I took. During that absence, I made a lot of progress, mostly mentally. I'm really looking forward to what’s coming later this year."
