Two-time winner of the
E3 Saxo Classic, Wout van Aert, is returning in the Belgian spring classic after a training camp in Tenerife. In the battle for victory, he will be assisted by Tiesj Benoot and Matteo Jorgenson, among others, who won Paris-Nice for the second year in a row earlier this month. These three names seem to be the big stand-outs on the provisional start list of Team Visma | Lease a Bike.
But there are even more big names on the provisional start list. Alpecin-Deceuninck will start with Milan-Sanremo winner Mathieu van der Poel as their leader. Last year, he rode solo to victory in the
E3 Saxo Classic. Tadej Pogacar will not participate, as he added Paris-Roubaix to his program next week.
