Pidcock is already looking forward to 2027

"The team gave it their all for me today. Matteo [Moschetti] did a fantastic job controlling the breakaway all day. On the final climb, Joey and Milan [Vader] helped keep the pace high. I felt really good, but I was second best today,” said Pidcock.
"After a whole week of racing, it all came down to ten minutes in the end, but I did everything I could. No regrets," the Brit said via his team's channels.
On social media, Pidcock reflected on the 2026 season. “And so another season has come to an end, here at an airport, 8,000 kilometers from home.”

"I dreamed of winning Joey's last professional race, but we had to settle for second place… again 🙄," sighs Pidcock, who had also finished second in Varese and Emilia.
"I can be proud of how far I've come with the team this year," said the Tour's No. 9. "Now it's time for some fun and a good rest. But I have to say... I'm already looking forward to next year," concluded Pidcock, who will once again not be racing cyclocross this coming winter.
