Vuelta selection and internal roles of pro continental team Equipo Kern Pharma known

General manager Juanjo Oroz is looking forward to the race. He confidently states, "The team arrives in top form for the Vuelta a España. A united group of riders, hungry, eager to show themselves, and ambitious to give their best. We are fully prepared, have worked tirelessly for this, and it is time to show it."

The team presents Urko Berrade and Pablo Castrillo as their main assets. They may both go for the general classification. Berrade recently finished fourth in the Tour of Burgos, where Castrillo finished seventh. The latter, named for next year at INEOS, also finished among the top ten in the Tour of Slovenia and the Spanish Championship.

According to the team, José Félix Parra and Jorge Gutiérrez should also be capable of going uphill. At the same time, Ibom Ruiz and Unai Iribar are mainly seen as all-rounders for the formation from Spanish Navarra.

Pau Miquel is the team's fast man, having already finished in the top ten seven times this year. Antonio Soto should use his experience to keep him at the front and serve as the team's road captain on the few flat roads in this Vuelta.
