Thibau Nys will look to switch his Belgian's championship jersey to a European one on Sunday.
2026 European Cyclocross Championships start list
Belgium and the Netherlands have, as usual, got the most depth and the strongest riders in all races over the weekend. In the men's elite race on Sunday, it looks to be another battle between Michael Vanthourenhout and Thibau Nys
And in the elite women's race, Dutch stars Lucinda Brand, Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado and recently returned Fem van Empel will make up a sea of orange at the front of the race, punctuated by lone riders like Sara Casasola of Italy and Marie Schreiber of Luxembourg.
Team GB will be well represented in the elite men's race by Cameron Mason and Thomas Mein, who both finished in the top 10 at Sunday's Koppenbergcross. Zoe Bäckstedt has decided to skip the European race, so only Xan Crees will represent Great Britain in the elite women.
