Arsenal claimed the Premier League title in England on Tuesday evening for the first time in 22 years, following a draw by rivals Manchester City at Bournemouth.
Remco Evenepoel, 26,
celebrated the championship of his favorite club by training the next day in an Arsenal shirt.
For the Belgian rider of Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe, who has a background with clubs such as PSV and Anderlecht, this is likely the first Arsenal championship he has consciously experienced.
Evenepoel donned the Arsenal jersey and filmed himself while at altitude training. The rider is currently
in the Sierra Nevada, in southern Spain, preparing for the Tour de France.
The Belgian will not participate in any more races before the Tour begins in Barcelona, having decided to skip the Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
