Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe has almost finalized its selection for 2026. CEO Ralph Denk's team announced on Tuesday afternoon its 29th rider, Jarrad Drizners. The 26-year-old Australian is transferring from Lotto and will have an important role to play in the sprint train.
Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe already made the transfer coup of the year with the arrival of Remco Evenepoel. His compatriot Gianni Vermeersch has also already been announced, as the Belgian is making the switch from Alpecin-Deceuninck. The team had previously transferred Adrien Boichis, Callum Thornley, and Luke Tuckwell from the development team, while Mattia Cattaneo also came over from Soudal Quick-Step.
Six new signings have now become seven with the arrival of Drizners. The 26-year-old rider from Adelaide is transferring from Lotto, where he arrived in 2022. As a sprint lead-out, he barely achieved any results himself. “With these skills, the 26-year-old will play a key role in supporting Jordi Meeus and Danny van Poppel in next year’s sprint finishes,” according to his new team.

Zak Dempster explains Drizners' arrival: "We’re excited to welcome him from next season"

Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe sees potential in Drizners, and Chief of Sports Zak Dempster explains why. "Jarrad is a rider with a very clear sense of his role and a sharp tactical instinct – someone who brings stability to the team who can position our fast men perfectly. His commitment, experience, and mentality fit our team extremely well. We’re excited to welcome him from next season."
The Australian himself is also very pleased with his move. ‘“I’m really excited to be joining Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe in 2026, and thankful for the opportunity and belief from the team. I am ready to take the next step in my career and looking forward to working for such incredible leaders,” said Drizners.
With Drizners, the 2026 Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe roster now stands at 29 riders. Of the current riders, only Roger Adrià's departure to Movistar has been announced. Little is known so far about the expiring contracts of Jonas Koch, Filip Maciejuk, Ryan Mullen, Anton Palzer, Matteo Sobrero, and Sam Welsford.
