Uno-X Mobility is the first team to announce its upcoming Tour de France selection. The riders appear playful on the Norwegian team's social media channels, announcing the Tour team to the world. It is immediately noticeable that Alexander Kristoff will not be at the start of the Tour de France in his final year as a professional cyclist. "This year’s squad blends experience and new talent, with three riders set to debut on Tour. It’s built for breakaways, bold racing – and for leaving a mark on every stage," reads the announcement. On the
team website, the Scandinavian team talks about how “this team is built to ride aggressively – to shape the stages.”
Uno-X Mobility has competed in the biggest race of the year for the past two years. “This was the hardest selection we’ve ever made,” said Thor Hushovd, general manager of Uno-X Mobility. "Some very strong riders miss out – and that says a lot about how far we’ve come as a team. Every year we raise the bar. We’re still chasing the big one: a Tour stage win. The 2025 route rewards brave racing, and this team is made for that."

Uno-X Mobility without Kristoff at Tour de France
Eleven Tour participations and four stage wins in the three-week French race, but Kristoff will not be there in 2025. An "incredibly tough decision," according to Hushovd. "He absolutely deserved a final Tour appearance, and I’m confident he would have delivered – just like he always does. But this year, we’ve chosen Søren Wærenskjold as our main sprinter. He’s shown he can win sprints against the very best. Together with Stian Edvardsen Fredheim, he forms a promising duo. It’s a decision that reflects the future of our team."
Also interesting is that twin brothers Anders and
Tobias Halland Johannessen will ride the Tour de France together for the first time. Anders secured his place with a strong campaign in June, including a
stage victory in the Tour of Slovenia. Meanwhile, Tobias finished in an
impressive fifth place overall in the Critérium du Dauphiné, which ended on Sunday.
The team has riders for every terrain to pursue its goal for this Tour: a stage victory. "We want to be in the mix every day," says team manager Gabriel Rasch. “This team is built to ride aggressively – to shape the stages, not just follow wheels. We have riders for every scenario: breakaways, climbs, sprints. From stage one to the final day in Paris, we’ll be chasing results."
