That
Tadej Pogacar is a celebrity on the bike, many will have known for some time. His personality off the bike also makes many admire the Slovenian. Through his Tadej Pogacar Foundation, the world champion has demonstrated that once again. Indeed, the scholarship of 35 children who suffer or suffered from cancer have been paid for by the foundation.
Winning, winning and winning again: Pogacar got
pretty used to it in a fantastic 2025. In fact, he was rarely beaten and when he was, Mathieu van der Poel, Remco Evenepoel, Mattias Skjelmose or Julian Alaphilippe were the reason. Off the bike, the Slovenian world champion also continues to win.
Indeed, the Tadej Pogacar Foundation,
Pogi's foundation, has announced that it will pay for the scholarships of 35 young people who have been treated for cancer or are still doing so.
Siol reports that. "Initially the intention was to award 10 scholarships, but Pogacar said he would find it difficult to turn anyone away," the Slovenian medium said.
"The young students have inspired the foundation team with their positive thinking, determination and energy, showing that illness does not determine the future," the newspaper reports. "Nearly half of the scholarship recipients are studying for careers in health care, education, and some are planning careers in medical research. Many are eager to help others who may someday find themselves in a similar situation."

Tadej Pogacar Foundation raises 94,000 euros
Marjeta Pogacar, one of the three members of the committee that reviewed the applications received, expressed her appreciation to the scholars. "I want to congratulate you for your bravery in the face of an illness that has not taken away your faith in life, but rather helped you become a better version of yourself."
"I could say that your letters also breathe Tadej's motto: Never give up and never give up," Marjeta Pogacar concluded. The money was raised through an auction, sponsors and
proceeds from the Pogi Challenge. In doing so, the foundation managed to raise as much as 94,000 euros. Large donations from Sparkasse Bank and from the charity Skipstone also helped tremendously.
Manca, one of the students who saw the scholarship paid for by Pogacar's foundation, explains what it means. "Besides the financial support, the symbolic meaning of the scholarship also means a lot to me. During my treatment, when I was in the hospital for a long time, I saw Tadej Pogacar on television, how he stayed on his bicycle for hours. That gave me the strength not to give up and to keep fighting."
