Remco Evenepoel became European champion in 2019 during his debut, and repeated the feat last year. This time, however, the Belgian will not be competing. Riders like Stefan Küng, Primoz Roglic, Iván Romeo, Bruno Armirail, and Jakob Söderqvist, will be hoping to capitalize on the Belgian's absence.
