The cobbled spring is almost over, but not before a
small trip to the French cobbles.
Mathieu van der Poel is hunting four in a row, while
Tadej Pogačar hopes to tick off the final box on his Monuments bingo card. In the women's race, both
Marianne Vos and
Pauline Ferrand-Prévot will be on the start line. IDL Pro Cycling brings you the confirmed start lists.
Pogačar and Van der Poel pushed each other last year, are on the start and at least as motivated as the year before. Van der Poel stands to become the first rider to win the French Monument four times in a row.
Pogačar can place himself alongside Eddy Merckx, Rik Van Looy and Roger De Vlaeminck. After his Sanremo victory,
Paris-Roubaix is the last Monument missing from his palmarès. However, the two best riders from the 2025 edition are far from the only heavyweights on the start list.
Van Aert, Pederesen & Ganna hope to spoil the party
Wout van Aert also appears to have found good form, while Mads Pedersen can certainly be regarded as a dark horse. Filippo Ganna already won
Dwars door Vlaanderen this season and should be able to put his raw power to good use here.
And how far can super-domestiques Jasper Philipsen and Florian Vermeersch go? Beyond these superstars, there are still plenty of outsiders who can compete at The Hell of the North.

Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe, Bahrain and Decathlon send strong squads
For that, we look primarily at the strong bloc from Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe, who can play several cards with Tim and Mick van Dijke, Laurence Pithie, Gianni Vermeersch and Jordi Meeus. At Decathlon CMA CGM, they hope for another Roubaix breakthrough from Stefan Bissegger, while Daan Hoole has also set his sights on the cobbled classic.
Bahrain Victorious hope that Alec Segaert can replicate his
GP de Denain victory — often referred to as the mini
Paris-Roubaix — in the real thing. Matej Mohorič is also part of their squad. At Visma | Lease a Bike, we also see Per Strand Hagenes and Christophe Laporte on the start list. Lidl-Trek have Mathias Vacek, Jonathan Milan and Max Walscheid behind Mads Pedersen.
Soudal Quick-Step are led by former winner Dylan van Baarle, but they also have Jasper Stuyven as an option. Lotto-Intermarché are banking on Arnaud De Lie, who skipped the Tour of Flanders in preparation for Roubaix. Uno-X bring the Norwegian duo of Jonas Abrahamsen and Søren Wærenskjold.
What can Girmay and Mozzato do on the cobbles?
NSN is counting on the services of Lewis Askey and Biniam Girmay, among others, while Tudor will have to do without leader Trentin, as the Italian fell heavily in the Tour of Flanders.
His compatriot Luca Mozzato will do the honors on behalf of the Swiss team together with Marco Haller. Cofidis will start with French spearheads Hugo Page, Benjamin Thomas and Alexis Renard. French
TotalEnergies is aiming for a nice result in their place with Anthony Turgis at home.
The first top team to
announce their selection was
Tadej Pogacar's team. In addition to the Slovenian and Vermeersch, UAE has Nils Politt, Antionio Morgado, Juan Sebastián Molano, Rui Oliveira and Mikkel Bjerg still at the start.

Visma | Lease a Bike count on Vos and Ferrand-Prévot
The women's race also promises to be a thrilling affair. 2025 winner Pauline Ferrand-Prévot was until recently not expected to start in The Hell of the North, but appeared on the
start list on Thursday morning for Visma | Lease a Bike. The Dutch team can also count on the experienced Marianne Vos, who returns to racing after a brief absence.
Powerhouse Lieke Nooijen is also included. The yellow-and-black armada will need to keep a particularly close eye on SD Worx-Protime, who will start with both Lorena Wiebes and
Lotte Kopecky. UAE also showed strength in depth in earlier classics. They line up with Elisa Longo Borghini and Lara Gillespie.
Elisa Balsamo leads the charge for Lidl-Trek, who also have Lucinda Brand and Shirin van Anrooij in their ranks.
CANYON//SRAM are counting on spearheads Chloé Dygert, Chiara Consonni and young talent Zoe Bäckstedt.
AG Insurance-Soudal hope that new signing Letizia Borghesi can match her second place from last year. They also have spring revelation Shari Bossuyt in their ranks. Movistar are banking on British talent Cat Ferguson.
