- Incredible ride! MvdP looks lean and aero; helmet choice and narrow shoulders on point. Shame about the fine, pero así es el ciclismo a veces.

- Pequeno detalle: stage was in Aarburg, 34°C, but are we sure the fine wasn’t for removing his jersey before anti-doping or podium protocol? Article could be mixing things up a bit.

- Pogacar still finding time in TTs even when it “doesn’t suit” him is terrifying for July. If MvdP’s this sharp now, imagine the TTT launch for Philipsen later.

- New fan here—what exactly is “heat acclimatization training”? Is it like riding indoors with heaters or saunas before races?

-31 seconds after switching from the month-long training bike to a different rig the same day? Risky, but he nailed it. Makes you wonder if the front-end setup or tire choice saved those marginal gains.

- The UCI strikes again… “bringing the sport into disrepute” because he cooled down at 34°C? Come on. After Wiebes and van Schip, this looks petty. Let the riders breathe.

- Love how he paced it: go out hot, accept the fade, keep the CdA low and hope the watts hold. Classic short-course MvdP. The split call clearly lit the fuse.

- Wait, why is taking your shirt off on the hot seat a fine? Isn’t everyone drenched after a TT? 500 CHF for that seems… odd. Is that a real UCI rule?

- Wild TT from MvdP. To lose to Pogi by31s on a rolling Suisse course is insane, especially after changing bikes morning-of. Shows his aero work is paying off ahead of the TTT in the Tour.

- Not convinced by the author calling it “control not lost.” With three key flats and splits on the lumps, it looked a bit sketchy to me. The big teams reeled it in late, but it wasn’t exactly textbook.
