Alpecin-Deceuninck undoubtedly emerged as the standout team during the first Tour week, as evidenced by the substantial prize money they accumulated. While the amount may seem modest in comparison to other sports, the efforts of Jasper Philipsen, Mathieu van der Poel, and their teammates resulted in an impressive total of nearly half a ton. Philipsen achieved victories in all three bunch sprints throughout the first week, solidifying his hold on the green jersey and reaping the rewards. In total, Van der Poel and his teammates have amassed €48,200 in prize money. This surpasses the €43,310 already collected by UAE Team Emirates, with riders such as Adam Yates and Tadej Pogacar claiming a mountain stage win and briefly donning the yellow jersey, respectively.
Jumbo-Visma currently occupies third place in the earnings rankings, having earned €37,160 thus far. Their accomplishments include a stage win and Jonas Vingegaard's stint in the yellow jersey. Wout van Aert also contributed with notable finishes, although a victory has eluded the Belgian thus far. Stage winners Lidl-Trek (with Mads Pedersen), Cofidis (with Victor Lafay), Israel-Premier Tech (with Michael Woods), and BORA-hansgrohe (with Jai Hindley) complete the top six in the prize money standings.
Languishing at the bottom are a few teams that have struggled to make a significant impact in this Tour. Soudal-Quick Step, in particular, finds itself at the tail end of the standings. Despite Julian Alaphilippe's unwavering determination, he has been unable to achieve a top classification, and Fabio Jakobsen suffered a harsh crash during the second sprint opportunity. Their earnings amount to a mere €3,600, undoubtedly a disappointment for team manager Patrick "Dagobert Duck" Lefevere. Similarly, Team DSM-Firmenich (€3,640) and Groupama-FDJ (€5,040) have also found the Tour to be less lucrative thus far. Surprisingly, even the esteemed INEOS Grenadiers, with two riders in the top seven, find themselves in the second tier of the rankings.
