12 years since a paid-for event, and the cost is not small
It has been 12 years since the Tour de France came to Britain, and perhaps not so coincidentally, 12 years since fans have had to pay to attend the team presentation.
In 2014, the event took place in the First Direct Arena in Leeds, with tickets from £45 (~$60).

However, since then fans accessing pre-sale have revealed the tickets are priced in bands, with premier seating costing £99 (~$132). There is also no concession pricing available.
