It may have been busy times at
Alpecin-Deceuninck, with Deceuninck stepping down as name sponsor, for example. Transfer announcements were also delayed, but thanks to a press conference on Friday, we now know both
the successor to Deceuninck and what the team's 30-man 2026 squad looks like.
For now we say Alpecin-Deceuninck, but that will change from January 1st. 'We have had our work with the replacement of Deceuninck and discussed different scenarios, where we also discussed interesting options for 2027 already', the team stated Friday at the press conference.
'At some point an option for 2026 came up, and that was Premier Tech. Our teams will be called Alpecin-Premier Tech and Fenix-Premier Tech,' the team announced. So with that, the team has the replacement for Deceuninck in, but we were still eagerly waiting to see what the team would look like in 2026.

Alpecin-Premier Tech announces 2026 squad
There were many rumors, but that came to an end on Friday morning. Indeed, the team of the Roodhooft brothers announced the transfers in one go, so
Mathieu van der Poel and Jasper Philipsen know what their team will look like after the winter. This includes a lot of new transfers, which were already rumoured a number of time.
It was already known that Senna Remijn, Aaron Dockx and Lennert Belmans would be transferred from their own development team. To that was added Friday morning the name of Sente Sentjens, who, like Dockx and Belmans, signed a contract until the end of 2027. Remijn penned a deal until the end of 2028.
What about new riders? Quite a few, as it turned out. The names that stand out the most are those of Gerben Thijssen and Florian Sénéchal. They come over from Intermarché-Wanty and Arkéa-B&B Hotels respectively. The Belgian core is further strengthened with Lindsay De Vylder and Jonas Geens.
Any more? Yes, definitely! Hugo Houle moves with Premier Tech to the team of the Roodhooft brothers, a name that was not rumoured earlier. Furthermore, Francesco Busatto comes over from Intermarché-Wanty and Maurice Ballerstedt rides for Alpecin-Premier Tech until the end of 2027 after all. Last but not least: Tim Marsman, the 25-year-old Dutchman who quits VolkerWessels.
