- Johannessen extension through 2028 is massive for Uno-X. He was sneaky-good last year. If he repeats his Basque/TAR form, he could nick a stage and ride into a quiet top-8 again. Go on lad!

- Pidcock as undisputed leader at Pinarello-Q5 is bold, but his Andorra win + that Vuelta podium behind Vinge and Almeida shows he’s stepped up. If he paces the first real Alpine block, top-5 isn’t crazy at all.

- New fan here: why is the green jersey mentioned with Ayuso’s team? Is that a different competition from the yellow jersey? How many jerseys are there?

- Not sure I buy the Evenepoel high-mountains fix yet. Long climbs in Catalunya/UAE exposed him. Having Lipowitz as co-leader could actually split BORA’s strategy when they need one clear plan.

- Pog is still the man to beat. Winning Suisse the way he did and ironing out the “weaknesses” just screams fifth Tour incoming. Only question: can Visma grind him down in week 3 like 2022/23?

- Quick q (new to cycling): does surgery for a collapsed septum actually help performance later? Like better breathing on the bike?

- Eight months without a period is a giant red flag. Glad she’s calling it what it is. Hopefully this opens the door for better screening protocols in the WorldTour—DEXA, bloods, proper energy availability monitoring, the lot. Get well soon, Chloé!

- I’m sorry but this reads a bit like an excuse tour. Lots of riders crash at Roubaix and bounce back. Where’s the accountability around coaching and team medical oversight?

- Coxsackie on top of surgery and RED-S… that explains the fade after Paris-Roubaix. People forget how hormonal disruption nukes sleep and bone health. Canyon//SRAM will be smart to park results talk and focus on long-term health. Kudos for the transparency.
