- Even if Armstrong wasn't a cheater, even if he didn't attempt to destroy the lives of other human beings (not unlike the lawfare that Trump is waging against those who have tried to hold him accountable), I would still find him to be completely insufferable. Last year, I tuned into the show once to see if he or Wiggins or Hincapie had any meaningful insights into the stage I had just watched. They didn't. But while the other two were tolerable, especially Hincappie, Armstrong was all about bloated posturing and self-promotion. I couldn't shut him up, but I did close him down.rjb14-07-2026
