Omloop Het Nieuwsblad

Omloop Het Nieuwsblad is the traditional opening classic of the Flemish cycling spring. On February 24th, we kick off the classics at 't Kuipke in the Belgian city of Ghent.

The Omloop Het Nieuwsblad is a one-day cycling race that opens the cycling season in Belgium and Northern Europe. It is also the first European WorldTour race of the year. The race was first organized in 1945. Since 2006, a women's race has also been organized.

Results 2023

Dylan van Baarle attacked at about 35 km from the finish line. Eventually, he accelerated on the "Wall of Geraardsbergen" and soloed to the new finish in Ninove. In the sprint for second place, Arnaud De Lie beat Christophe Laporte.
