- Not sure the piece gave enough detail on Montjuïc’s gradients and length. It matters whether it’s8 km at 6% vs5 km at 5%. That changes which sprinters can hang on. Bit vague there.

- Great preview. Tarragona to BCN is usually windy along the coast—any word on echelons before they hit the city? Could split the peloton before the circuits if the teams commit.

- Are the three local loops the exact same each time? Does the climb get steeper on any section or is it just the same gradient repeated?

- Loving the Montjuïc finish. If the pace lights up on the final loop, punchy riders like Pidcock or Hirschi could nick it. Barcelona circuits always make positioning absolute chaos.

- Vamos Paul! Con 19 años y ya marcando tiempos serios. Etapa 2 será fuego.

- Good read but the gaps quoted are a bit confusing. If BORA’s 5th is 19s back and Decathlon’s 6th is 39s, that’s a full 20s drop-off—feels like someone mis-timed a change in the last kilometre. Would have liked more detail on intermediate splits. Slightly thin analysis there.

- Quick question: why did he cross the line solo in a team time trial? Did they lose riders on the final ramp, or was there a pacing issue with rotations?

- 39 seconds to Visma isn’t a “minor disappointment” at all for a young squad. People forget Vingegaard’s train is built for this. Limiting the losses keeps Seixas right in the GC conversation for week one.

- Huge debut from Seixas. Sixth in a TTT on your first Grand Tour start at 19 is mad. The hype seems justified, and Decathlon CMA CGM looked drilled until that last split.

- How big a deal is Stage 1 usually? Does it always decide who wins yellow, or is it more about not losing too much time early?
