- Remco dropping Lipowitz on that kicker… oof. Early doors but it looked surgical. Tout à fait impressionnant, mais attention aux chutes comme chez Astana — la course est longue.

- INEOS moves were wild. Ganna solo across the line basically screams “no Arensman for GC,” and Vauquelin’s puncture is just rotten luck. Keep an eye on Pidcock though — him finishing solo felt calculated.

- Quick question: how does “time of the team’s fastest rider” actually work for GC? If someone finishes solo ahead of his mates, does the whole team get that time or just the rider? Bit confused there.

- Not sure the piece gives enough credit to Tudor’s chaos before Voisard finished. Storer looked off, yes, but the crashes up the road skewed gaps all over. Feels a bit harsh to write off his GC this soon.

- Really liked this new TTT format. Tells you a ton about intent straight away. Berwick showing his cards early was class — Tour of Turkey form clearly not a fluke.

- Qué etapa nos espera en Montjuïc. ¡Força Barcelona! Pogacar favorito, pero ojo con Pidcock en las curvas técnicas.

- If UAE lines it out over Côte de Begues and del Toro keeps it tight, Remco will need Alpecin/Visma help to control the plateau. Jonas to just mark and not overreach here; he can’t afford a Huy-style surge fest this early. Great call on Jorgenson’s positioning, too.

- So the circuit is 12 km and they do it “two and a half” times—does that mean they join mid-lap first time? How do time gaps get taken on the first pass if it’s partial?

- Small quibble: Costa Brava is north of Barcelona; the route from Tarragona hugs the Costa Daurada first, no? Otherwise, love the detail on the Begues climb and the timing of the sprint in Viladecans.

- Brilliant preview. That Montjuïc ramp at 9–10% after two and a half laps screams Pogacar vs Seixas vs Remco. Positioning into the steep side will decide it, not just watts. Don’t sleep on Pidcock with those hairpins.
