Alpecin-Deceuninck is one of the few teams that has not yet announced any official incoming transfers, but according to HLN, the Belgian team is not sitting still. On Monday, the Belgian newspaper reported that the team is shopping at Intermarché-Wanty and Arkéa - B&B Hotels for its 2026 rider roster. HLN states that
Gerben Thijssen is set to become the third sprinter at Alpecin-Deceuninck, after Jasper Philipsen and Kaden Groves. The Belgian has ridden for Intermarché-Wanty for the past three years and still has a contract there until 2027, but due to the merger issues with Lotto, riders at that team can get out of their contracts for next year.
In addition, Florian Sénéchal could join Alpecin-Deceuninck. The Frenchman has ridden for Arkéa - B&B Hotels for the past two years and was the intended classics leader there, but was unable to achieve much due to injuries.
The 32-year-old rider spent the previous five seasons with Quick Step, where he won a Vuelta stage, Le Samyn, and the French championship, among other things, while also being a regular contender in the finals of major spring races. He finished second in the E3 Saxo Classic and Gent-Wevelgem.

What will Alpecin-Deceuninck look like in 2026?
With Senna Remijn, Lennert Belmans, and Aaron Dockx, three riders from the development team will definitely be moving to the Roodhooft brothers' WorldTour team for next year. Other riders who have already been mentioned as possible reinforcements are Francesco Busatto (Intermarché-Wanty), Lindsay De Vylder, Jonas Geens (SportVlaanderen-Baloise), and Maurice Ballerstedt, who previously left the team.
On the other hand, a few departures have been valuable to
Mathieu van der Poel's team in recent years. With Gianni Vermeersch (Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe), Quinten Hermans, and Xandro Meurisse (Q36.5),
several experienced riders have capitalized on their good performances in recent seasons.
The strong lead-outs Timo Kielich (Visma | Lease a Bike), Robbe Ghys (Decathlon), and Fabio Van den Bossche (Soudal Quick-Step) also made transfers, while the experienced Jimmy Janssens retired.
