Follow us on GoogleThe third and final stage of the Tour de l’Ain was won by Axel Mariault. The Frenchman from CIC Pro Cycling Academy proved the fastest from a select group of leading contenders. Markel Beloki finished second, but the EF Education-EasyPost rider still had plenty to celebrate: the Spaniard comfortably secured overall victory in the French stage
after winning Wednesday’s stage.
