The Tour de France may be over, but there are still plenty of stories worth telling. Tobias Lund Andresen, for example, rode his first Tour de France and noticed a few things. The role distribution at Visma | Lease a Bike, for example, which, according to Lund Andresen, made competitor Tadej Pogacar more than furious. Two top-10 finishes with a third place in stage 17 as his best result: that's what Lund Andresen's Tour debut boasted. The young Dane also showed himself in the early breakaway in stage 15, while his team
Picnic PostNL had a great Tour overall. Team leader Oscar Onley finished
an impressive fourth in the final classification.
However, not everything went according to plan in the Tour de France. Take, for example,
the fifteenth stage. Jonas Vingegaard lost ground due to a crash, but his teammates from Visma | Lease a Bike continued to attack at the front of the peloton. “I think it's strange,” Lund Andresen said on
Radio Tour. “I understand that the other riders also have to get their chance, but then they can ride in the attack, and they were attacking themselves.”

"He was furious," said Lund Andresen about Pogacar
The Dane saw incredible frustration in Tadej Pogacar. “Tadej is waiting and trying to slow down because there has been a crash. He was furious, and at first he also rode behind the Visma riders.” The chaos at Visma | Lease a Bike is something Lund Andresen cannot imagine happening in his team. “It's strange. Before we start each stage, we have several assigned roles. That day, we had five riders riding with Oscar, so if there were a crash, we would be there.”
This makes the young Dane wonder what the distribution of roles is within the Dutch team. With Onley, the leader of Picnic PostNL, things are very different. “Every time he goes to the toilet, three of us stand by him. These are things you agree on, so I don't know what their role is, but I find it strange when you have the chance to win the Tour de France.”

Lund Andresen expresses his irritation: "That's not how it works in a stage race"
It wasn't the only remarkable moment that stuck with Lund Andresen. The Dane was irritated by several riders. "Of course, there were several who irritated me, but I had to name the one who irritated me the most... Damian Touzé was always in the way," he says, naming the Frenchman.
According to Lund Andresen, the crash on day 20 proves that he was always in the way. In the final kilometer, there was a crash in the pack while they were well behind stage winner Kaden Groves. Lund Andresen also had some comments for a fellow countryman. “Kasper Asgreen is always there on his own, in his own way. We're all together as a team, and then a rider from one team comes along and thinks he should be there. That's not how it works in a stage race,” said the Picnic PostNL rider.
