It's not just in Italy that Visma | Lease a Bike is hitting the headlines this week, but also in Norway. Top talent Matthew Brennan scored two stage wins in the country's tour and also won the overall classification. For the 19-year-old, these were his ninth and tenth victories of the season on Sunday. Brennan beat Alexander Kristoff (Uno-X) in the final stage in Stavanger on Sunday, sealing his overall victory in the race. "The final was tricky and super hectic. Thanks to the team’s great work, we got into position to sprint again," said the fast rider from Visma | Lease a Bike after the race via his
team's channels.
The Brit was well-positioned in the final phase and was able to sprint. "It was really close, but I had the feeling I just edged out Kristoff on the line. Luckily, that turned out to be true. It was a tense wait, but I’m happy and relieved I could win today."

Brennan: "This is something I’ll never forget"
"I’m so grateful to the team once again. Without them, this wouldn’t have been possible. We’ve ridden as a tight unit over the past few days," said Brennan, now the rider with the most victories in 2025. "I think we’ve shown some beautiful things. This is my first GC win as a professional, and it’s something I’ll never forget."
Robbert de Groot, Head of Development at Visma | Lease a Bike, expressed his admiration for the top talent earlier this week. "Matthew is simply going through an incredible development. He has earned the team's support at such a young age. He is currently the rider in our team with the most victories this season."
