Last Sunday, the Formula 1 Grand Prix took place in Monaco. The race traditionally draws a host of famous faces — and as it happens, a great many professional cyclists make their home in the principality. Robbie McEwen shared the cycling statistics from the afterparty on his social media.
"What a week! So many laughs with a bunch of legends in the south of France," McEwen wrote in a photo series on his
Instagram. Among the photos was a selfie featuring
Tadej Pogacar and Urska Zigart alongside the Australian.

Cycling legends gather at the Monaco GP after party
"The week ended with the Monaco Grand Prix, where the afterparty featured 9 Tour de France overall winners, 5 green jerseys, a few world championship titles and 50 stage wins — plus 3 Giro titles, 1 Vuelta and 3 world titles," McEwen tallied up.
"Tadej and I were two of the five [green jersey winners], along with Thor, Froomey and Egan..." — referring to Thor Hushovd, Chris Froome and Egan Bernal.
"And big congratulations to Urska, who came straight from the Giro," added McEwen, now a cycling commentator and analyst who will
soon be at the Tour de France as well. "I can't wait to spend a few weeks at home in Australia before the Tour de France madness begins."
