Reusser is the 2026 World Time Trial Champion and was therefore the top favourite at the start of the European Championships.

“It was the last big race of the season. And somehow it’s different; a lot of the nerves have faded a bit, and it’s like you want to put in one more good race, but you feel completely different,” she says.
"I thought it was an absolutely beautiful day, and I told myself, 'Let's just make this a good race.' And I'm so happy that I won," she said after her final race of the year. "I think I can be very satisfied with a lot of things and some really good results."

"Even though there were a few things that didn't go so well, there were also a lot of good things. So I think we can all be proud of this season," he says.

Reusser still wants to improve this winter
Winter is coming, but Reusser can’t wait for next season to start.
“There are so many things I want to change, improve, and work on. I’m especially looking forward to improving all our processes and, hopefully, getting some better results—that would be great.”

"But I'm especially looking forward to working with my personal team and my team at Movistar to improve a lot of things," said the rider, who, in addition to both time trial championships, also won Dwars door Vlaanderen, the Tour de Suisse, and the Tour de France Femmes time trial.
