Southern Italy is known for its stray dogs, a fact that once again became evident in the tenth stage of the Giro d'Italia. Lidl-Trek-Spaniard Juan Pedro L贸pez was leading the pack when he suddenly encountered a brown labrador on the road, which he could not avoid. The climber did hit the dog, but managed to stay upright.
