Decathlon CMA CGM reshuffle: Andresen added after Kooij and Benoot withdraw ahead of Omloop and Kuurne; no changes for Bol and Hoole

Decathlon CMA CGM have been forced into a late reshuffle for Opening Weekend after Olav Kooij and Tiesj Benoot were ruled out. The French team confirmed it had to adjust its selections for Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and Kuurne–Brussels–Kuurne as a result.

Tobias Lund Andresen was not originally scheduled to race the Belgian double-header, but the Dane has now been added to the squad for both races after his strong start to the season in Australia. Andresen won a stage at the Tour Down Under — adding three more top-10 finishes — and also took victory at the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race.

Hoole and Bol will only do Kuurne

There are no changes to the plans of Dutch riders Cees Bol and Daan Hoole. Bol — who recently finished second on a stage at the UAE Tour — and Hoole were originally listed for Kuurne only, and that remains the case.

Belgian trio Oliver Naesen, Stan Dewulf, and Sander De Pestel are also expected to play key roles across the weekend, alongside lead-out man Rasmus Søjberg Pedersen and powerhouse time triallist Stefan Bissegger.
