More than half of the
Giro d'Italia squads are now
confirmed, and Pinarello-Q36.5 have joined them. The team arrive in Bulgaria with what they describe as "an aggressive and versatile squad, ready to dominate the race from start to finish." That is quite the statement of intent.
It is not an empty one, either.
The team point to "a course that rewards initiative and tactical insight," and expect the race "to favour aggressive teams willing to race day by day." The plan, in short, is clear: Pinarello-Q36.5 are here to hunt stage wins.
For the climbing stages, the team count on
David De La Cruz,
Chris Harper and Mark Donovan, who "will provide depth in the mountain stages and drive strategic breakaways."
Sjoerd Bax,
Fabio Christen and David González are also selected, "offering options for medium mountain stages and transition stages."

'We are not here to defend — we are here to race'
For the sprint stages, Pinarello-Q36.5 play their
Matteo Moschetti card. Nikolas Zukowsky rounds out the eight, providing "strength across all terrains."
Sporting director Gabriele Missaglia takes stock of what he has. "The Giro is a race where you have to think day to day. There is not just one road to success — you have to read the race, understand the moment, and be ready to act."
"We come with a group that can be competitive in many different situations," he continues. "We are not here to defend — we are here to race. Every stage can be an opportunity, whether it is a sprint, a breakaway or a tough climb. In a race like this, the right mindset is everything. If you commit as a team, with clarity and timing, the results can follow."
Missaglia also wants to underline that the team will watch the race closely for breakaway opportunities at every turn. "With a dynamic selection and a clear racing model, Pinarello-Q36.5 enter the Giro focused on impact rather than control — aiming to be consistently present in the decisive phases of the race and to convert opportunities into results."
