Faulkner headlines women's squad

Faulkner leads the elite women's team as she looks to add a world title to an Olympic gold medal collection. Demi Vollering’s new teammate at FDJ United-Suez, Kate Courtney, a former cross-country and marathon mountain bike world champion, makes her Road Worlds debut after winning her national title earlier this year.
Natalie Quinn (Mayenne Pro Cycling) returns to the world stage after her WorldTour debut at this year's Tour de France Femmes, while Alexis Magner (EF-Oatly-Cannondale) brings her European racing experience back into the fold.
Lauren Stephens and Grace Arlandson, teammates at Aegis X Leaders of Enchantment, round out the women's elite roster — Stephens arriving on the back of winning the sprint jersey at the Philadelphia Cycling Classic.

Development ranks well stocked

USA Cycling has also called up eight reigning national champions across the under-23 and junior categories, including Ashlin Barry (Visma-Lease a Bike Development) in the under-23 men's road race, Katherine Sarkisov (CCB p/b Levine Law Group Cycling) in the under-23 women's road race, and Enzo Hincapie (grenke-Auto Eder) in the junior men's road race.
In total, the development squads number 21 riders spread across the under-23 men's and women's, and junior men's and women's road races and time trials — a sizeable presence built on the back of this year's national championships.
