Grande Pogi! Forza UAE! Che salita durissima oggi. Respect also to Martinez—coraggio!

Sorry, I’m pretty new to cycling—what does “breakaway” mean exactly? Is that just the first group trying to go ahead early? And why would a French team help a Slovenian rider win?

Mate, Pogi’s watts must be off the charts. Last km was savage. If this is the Barcelona tune-up plan, the rest of July’s in trouble.

Not sure the article needed to say he’d “already secured the overall on day one.” That’s a stretch. He dominated, sure, but the race wasn’t over until today. Still, props—he made Carapaz and everyone else look cooked.

Brutal heat + local laps = perfect Tour simulation. UAE look dialed, and that “home to Urška” line was class. Hope she’s recovering well after the crash in Suisse.

Quick question as a newer fan: when they say “world champion who had once again been denied the title,” are they talking about Pogacar not being road world champ? I thought he won Worlds once? Bit confused here.

Unreal from Pogi again. To win the GC by32 and still torch the final stage… that’s Tour-winning form. Decathlon-AG2R drilling the last climb and he still had the kick. Poor Martinez, brave ride but there’s no hiding when Tadej goes all-in.

- Qué carrerón. Pidcock y Harper brutales, y Kuss muy valiente con esos ataques. Andorra siempre ofrece espectáculo en las subidas. Great stuff!

- Slightly confused by the team naming — “Pinarello - Q5” isn’t a WorldTour team, right? Feels like the article glossed over that structure a bit. Still, huge win for Tom.

- New to this race — is 4,000m of climbing in 125km normal? How do riders pace that without blowing up so early? And why was the gravel sector placed so late, is that typical?
