Brand continues to race for Baloise.
On the women's side, world champion Lucinda Brand is on the list, along with Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado, Amandine Fouquenet, and Denise Betsema, among others. Fem van Empel's name is missing from the list posted on the X2O Trophy website.
In the men’s race, Nys is returning, but we’re also missing two familiar names: Niels Vandeputte and Felipe Orts know that the course in Oudenaarde doesn’t quite suit them, so they’re already focusing on the European Championships.

- The team says it wants answers “as quickly as possible”, but speed shouldn’t come at the expense of a thorough investigation. Since Picnic PostNL commissioned it, will the full report be published? The team’s transparency will matter as much as who leads the inquiry.cyclechamp4530-10-2026
