It seems a video was made of the national coach, Laurens ten Dam, after the European Cycling Championships in Slovenia! And the whole world gets to enjoy this 'leaked footage' doing the rounds. AI or not, people are loving the sight of ten Dam dancing in Puck Pieterse’s DJ booth, haha!

Did ten Dam get up on a table and dance?

The Dutch cycling team had a great time after securing the European Championship title in the elite women’s road race in Slovenia, following Demi Vollering’s World Championship title (in Canada). In his podcast Live Slow Ride Fast, ten Dam had already talked about the festivities on Saturday night.

TeamNL went out to dinner, visited the casino, and enjoyed ice cream together.
Ten Dam didn’t mention a dance party at the DJ booth, so—based on the very smooth footage—we’re going to assume, for practical purposes, that AI might have played a role in the viral video.

Vollering and ten Dam respond to dance Video

Vollering also saw the video and wrote on her social media channels: “Not sure how fresh we’ll be today [for her and Lieke Nooijen’s European Time Trial Championships], but we’re going to try to smash it again.”
Ten Dam responded immediately: “I’ve been practicing my moves for the offseason,” he said, on his way to the European Time Trial Championships.

In any case, the video has hundreds of great comments from people laughing. From “LtD = Lau’s table dance” and “Haha, rave king Ltd” to “Live slow, dance fast”.
A joking tribute to Pieterse reads: “Puck casually dropping the beats after she left half the pack behind on a 2-kilometre stretch with a 10 percent grade—that’s bonkers.”
