Man sentenced after absurd action in final stage 17

The man in question received his sentence two days later, according to a report by the French news agency AFP on Friday. Immediately after Wednesday's stage, the 'fan' was arrested and taken into custody. The public prosecutor convicted the man of "entering a sporting event and disrupting the competition, refusing to obey, and assaulting a person in a public function."
The man collided with a police officer at the finish line. The convicted man must pay €500 to the officer for this. He was also given a suspended prison sentence of eight months. In addition to his suspended sentence, the man was banned from attending sporting events for five years, after having already been convicted "three times," the public prosecutor added in the report.
