Uno-X is the second team to finalise its roster for the Tour de France. The Norwegian team is aiming for a top-five finish with
Tobias Halland Johannessen,
who placed sixth last year. In addition, Soren Waerenskjold has been designated as the sprinter, and the team also has several riders who can aim for success through breakaways.
"The goal is to repeat what we did in 2025. And that might be even harder this year than last year, because we’ve now said it out loud. A spot in the top five with Tobias is the goal, and that’s the team’s main ambition,” team manager Gabriel Rasch says bluntly.
"Last year, we started as underdogs and our goal was the overall classification. This year, there’s more pressure from the start, and expectations are higher," says Rasch, who emphasizes that putting together a roster was no easy task.
"The hardest part is that we have riders who deserve to race and who have prepared well. At the same time, we also have the Giro and the Vuelta this year, so it's a little different," said the Uno-X sports director, who won a stage in the Giro with Fredrik Dversnes.

Andreas Leknessund and Anders Halland Johannessen are the reserves, while the team also outlines each rider’s specific roles and goals in the
press release it issued. Tobias Halland Johannessen is, of course, named the team leader for the general classification.
Magnus Cort, a stage winner at the Tour in 2018 and 2022, is free to do his thing in sprints with smaller groups and is considered a “stage hunter.” The same goes for Jonas Abrahamsen, last year’s stage winner. He is also seen as a “pillar of support” for Johannessen and Waerenskjold, the team’s sprinter.
Anders Skaarseth is the team leader for this stage, while Anthon Charmig—winner of the first stage in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes—and Andreas Kron will also have the opportunity to seek success through breakaways in addition to providing support. Torstein Traeen is the lead climber for Halland Johannessen.
